According to Fox News, the man, whose name is Vem Miller, stated, “Yes, I’m 100% a Trump supporter.”
He is 49 years old and denied allegations against him posed by the local sheriff of bringing weapons to Trump’s event to kill him.

More about the case
As per the reports, Miller never got anywhere near Trump. Police –including the Riverside, California, sheriff’s office, Secret Service, and the Los Angeles US attorney – insisted that Trump was not in any peril.
Authorities claimed that Trump had been safe, and yet this occurred even after two assassination attempts, the alarm and concern over his safety.
The Riverside County sheriff Chad Bianco claimed, “I truly do believe we prevented another assassination attempt,” stoking concerns still more, the Guardian reported.
How did the arrest take place?
Miller was arrested at a checkpoint about half a mile from an entrance to Trump’s Coachella Valley campaign rally just before it was to begin.
Officials said that Miller was in control of a loaded twelve-gauge and nine-millimeter Beretta pistol and a magazine with more than ten rounds. KTLA said that Miller was arrested before Trump reached the place.
He was arrested shortly before the incident and was released on USD 5,000 bail a few hours later, police revealed.
This, Bianco said that Miller caused law enforcement to notice him when he was able to get near the first line of the perimeter of Trump’s campaign appearance.
The sheriff’s deputy “eventually found multiple passports with multiple names and multiple driver’s licenses with different names,” Fox 5 News reported.
