FBI undergoing investigation

According to CBS News, the FBI is looking forward to finding out whether Iranian hackers had also targeted the Biden-Kamala Harris campaign.

The statement from the Trump campaign came immediately after a day when Microsoft released its report about a potential Iranian hacker’s attack on the campaign of an unnamed US politician candidate in June month.

According to Microsoft’s Threat Analysis Center (MTAC) report, as BBC News reported, the campaign was designed to send a spear-phishing email, a message made to look trustworthy and portray legitimacy, and have the target click on a malicious link attached.

On Saturday, in a statement by Trump pointed out that the hackers were “only able to get publicly available information.”

According to CBS reports, the FBI began investigating the matter as early as the beginning of summer, when both campaigns experienced attempted phishing schemes.

He mentioned in his post on X/Twitter on Saturday, “Yes, Trump is the most despicable person ever to seek office. He also sought foreign hacking in a past election… But that doesn’t mean America ever tolerates foreign interference,” as BBC News reported.
