United States: The Kremlin on Friday praised US President-elect Donald Trump against Ukrainian missile strikes deep inside Russia’s territory. However, it dismissed the idea of using European troops in Ukraine in the future as premature to maintain peace.

As Russia continues to advance at the fastest rate since the early stages of its invasion of Ukraine in late February this year, Trump and some EU leaders have begun wondering how to bring the conflict in Ukraine to an end.
Trump slammed Ukraine’s use of American-supplied missiles to target deep into Russia during a Time magazine interview published on Thursday, stating it was crazy as it extended the war.
He also mentioned that Washington should not have allowed it.
What does Russia claim?
According to Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin spokesman, “The statement itself completely coincides with our position,” and he also mentioned that Trump’s remarks were aligned with “our vision of the causes of escalation.”

“It appeals to us,” “It is obvious that Trump understands exactly what is escalating the situation,” Peskov added, Reuters reported.
Russia has claimed that US President Joe Biden’s decision to let Ukraine attack as far as central Russia using US-supplied ATACMS ballistic missiles could lead to a world war, but some Western leaders are hinting that Russia has military aggression beyond Ukraine.
Kyiv claims that it should be able to hit its foe, although some faces in Washington doubt whether the Ukrainian air strikes could tip the military balance.
Russia accused Ukraine on Wednesday of using six U.S.-made ATACMS ballistic missiles to attack a military airfield on the Azov Sea.
When Ukraine attacked Russia with ATACMS last month, Russia responded with a new hypersonic ballistic missile, “Oreshnik,” or Hazel Tree, in Ukraine, and Putin announced that he had permission to target U.S. and British military assets.
Trump, who was campaigning for the presidency, promised to remove the US from the war immediately but has not explained in public how he can achieve this, Reuters reported.
In answer to the question as to whether Trump’s words have inspired more confidence in the Kremlin about ending the war, Peskov noted that, during the first presidential term of the US leader, terms such as ‘sanctions against Russia’ were actively used.
Moreover, “Let’s not forget, sanctions were imposed against our country over 50 times, and there were many unfriendly manifestations towards our country,” and “This should not be forgotten, so do not get ahead of yourself.”
The Kremlin said that though some of the European countries had indicated the possibility of deploying European troops to enforce any ceasefire, it was only in their early stages and did not completely frown at the idea.
Peskov added, “All this should be discussed during the negotiations,” and, “All this should be discussed during the negotiations,”
